The 33rd annual meeting of the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL), held in Kyoto, Japan, included two special sessions organized by the Coalition for Global Hepatitis Elimination (CGHE): (1) Thinking Big: Hepatitis B and C Elimination in Asia, to share lessons learned and innovative strategies for preventing, diagnosing, and treating hepatitis B (HBV) and hepatitis C (HCV) across Asia; and (2) HCV Elimination Policy Forum, to share specific lessons and strategies for preventing, diagnosing, and treating hepatitis C across Asia.
